David Higgins, Chief Executive, Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA):

Hi! I'm David, Chief Executive of the Olympic Delivery Authority. Today I'm going down to site to mark the start of the Media and Broadcast Centre on site. It's in the north-west corner of the Olympic site and it's the last of the 'big five' venues to get started. So we have the Stadium, the Aquatics Centre, Velodrome, the Village and now the Media and Broadcast. So a very important day for us.

Well as you can see there's a lot of activity happening on site here now, it's pretty muddy and the site's just started within the last two weeks.

But from up here it's obviously very different. Right behind me is where the Broadcast Centre will be in Games time, and to the left is the Media facility.

Twenty thousand journalists working 24-hours a day to bring the Olympics to four billion people around the world.

For us, the Games is much more than 60 days of great sport, it's about legacy and this facility is all about long-term jobs, thousands of jobs we hope to bring to the Park.
