Finsbury Park

The London 2012 Get Set roadshow has visited many London boroughs during the summer of 2008.
Roadshow announcer: Welcome to the Get Set roadshow here in Finsbury Park for the Rise Festival. It has only just gone three thirty. We're still loving it, we're watching the fencing, we'll see you soon.

Anne Wafula Strike - Paralympic Athlete: I think this is great, you know, road shows like this. You can see the people are here to try different sports, and this is another way of creating awareness of 2012. With something like this it's bringing the community together and letting them have a go.

Councillor Alan Dobbie - Mayor of Haringey: What will be good for London is the prestige of being able to host the Games. In the area where they are going to be held, they have gone through decades of tough and hard times. So it is going to be a real boost for them, and when the Olympics are over, let's remember, those sports centres and swimming pools etc. are going to be there for London children to use in the future.

Sejal Sedani - Bollywood Dane Vibes Group: You know, dance is a fun way to exercise. That is what we do, we try and get all the kids involved, and all the adults, and try and get them living a healthier life.

Woman attending roadshow: I think it gets Londoners thinking about their own personal fitness levels. It shows they are going to be proud because they are going to have people from all over the place coming down to their area, so, yeah, I think it will be something to be proud about.

Man attending roadshow: It sparks an interest, gets them used to sports. There's loads of things in the media about kids, diet and exercise, so this is an ideal opportunity.
