David Higgins meets the Construction Crew.
David Higgins, ODA Chief Executive: Over the last two days, around 20 students - year six to 10 year olds have been here at the Olympic site training to be part of our Construction Crew.
So they will come to the site every two months, and they are our ambassadors to go back to their schools, explain what's happening on the Olympics and to also give us feedback from their schools of things which they want to learn more about.
So what they've been learning over the two days here is essentially leadership skills, how they work together as teams and going through a number of exercises as well as visiting the site and hearing how the project is progressing.
While I 've been down here this afternoon and I've joined in on some of the team building exercises, what was interesting was to see how they'd very quickly made friends and they learned to rely on each other, and how naturally they were able to answer questions so they didn't feel any way self conscious about giving their own experience of the two days.
Construction Crew member 1: My favourite part of the day was looking through my binoculars and using them in the drama.
Construction Crew member 2: My favourite part of the day was when we went on the Olympic site and we saw what had changed.
