Newcastle Central station is around 15 minutes’ walk from the venue. The station has direct rail services from London King’s Cross, Birmingham and Edinburgh, with connections from the rest of the National Rail network. It is also served by local rail services.
You should book your rail tickets in advance. Special 2012 Games Train Tickets are available for London 2012 ticket holders.

St. James’ Park is well served by local bus links. The nearest bus stations are Eldon Square and Haymarket, both approximately 10-minutes’ walk from St. James’ Park.

Charter Coach parking will be provided at Newcastle College.
Park-and-ride
Park-and-ride is available for this venue from Newcastle Great Park and Metrocentre. This service is not included in the price of your event ticket and cannot be booked in advance, but reduced fares are available on production of your match ticket.

St James is the recommended Metro station with step-free access.
If you’re travelling by National Rail to Newcastle Central and require assistance, you should book this when you buy your train tickets. To book rail tickets and assistance, visit the 2012 Games Train Ticket booking website. An accessible shuttle service will be available from Newcastle Central to the Stadium.
Limited, pre-booked accessible parking will be provided close to the venue for disabled spectators who are UK Blue Badge holders or members of an equivalent national scheme. This must be booked in advance
