The Games Travelcard is valid for travel between London and Slough or Windsor & Eton Riverside. It is not valid on services to and from Maidenhead station.
If you’re travelling from outside London, you should book your rail tickets in advance. Special 2012 Games Train Tickets are available for London 2012 ticket holders.
Free shuttle buses will run from all stations to the spectator hub at Royal Windsor Racecourse (around 15-minute journey). From there, it’s a 15-20 minute walk to the venue entrance – please follow the signs and directions from staff.

Bus

A limited-capacity river shuttle will operate a limited service between Windsor Promenade and Royal Windsor Racecourse, providing a fast and convenient way to travel between Windsor and the venue. Travel by river is not covered by the Games Travelcard.

Park-and-ride sites are available for Eton Dorney. Park-and-ride is not included in the price of your event ticket and must be booked in advance

Walking
Eton Dorney is located on the north bank of the River Thames. The Thames Path north of the river runs past the venue. There is also a walking route from Windsor to the spectator hub at the Royal Windsor Racecourse, and various traffic-free walking routes signposted in the area.

Trained volunteers will meet you at a convenient start point and lead you to or from the venue in groups of up to 30. Cycling
Free, secure, managed cycle parking will be provided at Eton Dorney. Please bring your own cycle lock.
National Cycle Route Network 4 runs alongside the north perimeter of the venue. There is good cycle access on a number of dedicated routes in the area.

If you’re thinking of cycling, why not join a 2012 Games guided cycle ride. These rides offer an opportunity to travel with an experienced ride leader, on audited routes. Accessible travel
Slough, Windsor & Eton Riverside and Maidenhead stations all have step-free access and staff assistance available. Accessible shuttles will run from these stations to a drop-off point outside the venue entrance.
If you’re travelling by National Rail, you should book assistance when you buy your train tickets. To book rail tickets and assistance, visit the 2012 Games Train Ticket booking website
Limited, pre-booked accessible parking will be provided close to the venue for disabled spectators who are UK Blue Badge holders or members of an equivalent national scheme.
In addition, park-and-ride is an integrated and inclusive service with accessible parking spaces and shuttles.
Taxis and private hire vehicles
Drop-off for taxi and private hire only, located at the spectator transport hub at Royal Windsor Racecourse. Accessible shuttles will be provided to the venue entrance for disabled spectators.
