The Olympic Flame was flown from Liverpool John Lennon airport by British Airways flight to Ronaldsway Airport in the Isle of Man, on ‘The Firefly’. Thirty-eight Torchbearers carried the Flame around the island including visits to Douglas and Laxey. The Flame then travelled to Belfast.
