Zoe Gillings

Zoe is one of Britain's top Snowboard Cross athletes. She placed 8th in the last Olympic Winter Games in 2010 followed by a podium finish in a World Cup event in Arosa in March this year. As well as dedicating her time and effort to produce these amazing results, she has also helped re-build the new National Governing Body for Skiing and Snowboarding, after the previous organisation went into administration during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. During this difficult time, when athletes weren't sure of their future, Zoe stood out by contributing a lot of time and effort to ensure every Snowsport athlete in every discipline continued to have the opportunity to represent their country in International Ski and Snowboard events. It just shows how passionate she is for not only doing well for herself but for helping and making sure her fellow team mates get the support, which they so truly deserve.
