Zach's nomination story

Zachary is a fantastic young man he is 18 on the 23rd of September and in the last few years he has supported his Mum to be able to run a Cub pack despite her disabilities after an accident at work left her with mobility problems helping out at home when she is ill after pack meetings. He never fails to assist his disabled Mum with a smile and good will.'

Zachary has worked as a Beaver Scout helper/young leader for the last 4 years turning up to help consistantly each week, plus helping at pack holidays. He also helps with the Cub section when needed and produced 2ndkimberley scouts website in conjunction with his friend Liam Hayman Tansley. Zachary continues to maintain the website for the Scout group.'

For the last 3 years Zach has played Ice Hockey for Sutton Sting Ice Hockey club and helped the club to promote the sport by assisting at the clubs two hockey camps. Unfortunately for this season he has had to stop playing and put all his energies into his studies for his final year of A'levels. He remains passionate about all Sports and uses his time with the young people in Scouting to promote Ice Hockey, sport and fitness in general.'

On top of this Zach has also been assisting the wildlife trust over the last few months willingly cutting meadows, mowing, trimming trees.'

Zach is passionate about Sport, wildlife and the younger children in his community and despite giving time to all this activities he gains good grades in school and is willing to help others.
