Yvonne Budd

Olympic Gymnastics at Exeter Gymnastics Club has been Yvonne's life time passion giving hundreds of children the opportunity of participation.

Yvonne Budd at '69 years young' has been with the club since 1972 as a volunteer parent and now great grand parent who is still actively coaching four nights a week for 3 hours at a time, attending competitions with 'her girls' and remains as dedicated as ever. She has helped the Club membership grow from 90 to over 1100 in the past 40 years demonstrating a vibrant enthusiasm to involve as many people, in as many activities as possible drawing people and families together.

A most worthy candidate to carry the Olympic Torch, highly recommended that her magnificent efforts over the years supporting gymnastics and all the many hundreds of children who have been touched by her particular brand of leadership and coaching style. She is a truly remarkable woman! CR
