BIi Weston MBE 36 years ago founded the Billerettes a majorette troupe with a difference that have become international, performing in excess of 1000 events bringing laughter and enjoyment to multi millions and helping to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds.. For 15 years Chairman of High Peak Mayoral Charities committee, 13 years organiser of the HIgh Peak Emergency Services Display Day.14 years as Father Christmas for local children. 15 years acting as Buxton Town Crier. 11 years since retiring voluntary assists teaches in classes of local Primary School, Active in successfully saving the Buxton Opera House as a theatre and some years later as Chair of the 'Save the Pavilion Gardens' successfully secured its use for the benefit of the community in general. In 2004 was awarded an MBE from HM The Queen for outstanding contribution to the community of Buxton in Derbyshire.
