William Jordon

The staff, pupils and governors would like to nominate the Headmaster of the school we work in, Mr Bill Jordon CBE. Mr. Jordon retires in 2012 after working in education for 45 years helping thousands of people reach their full potential. He is an inspirational, passionate and devoted figure to the pupils of our school, the staff and the local community and received the CBE for his contribution to education in 2004. Our school serves a community with multiple deprivation factors. Mr Jordon has made it his mission to inspire and lead this community to success. He has worked tirelessly to make sure that our young people achieve their dreams- through mutual respect and dedication. Mr Jordon has led the school to become a Specialist Sports College, gain an Ofsted rating of Outstanding and place in the top 20 schools nationally for value added. The Olympic values of respect, excellence and friendship are the common thread that Mr. Jordon has embedded into the heart of our school.
