Bill Hoe

Bill is an outstanding member of my community, he has been involved volunteering in the air cadets for over 30 years, and as the Wing Duke of Edinburgh award officer helps hundreds of cadets aged 14 to 20 through their award every year. Next week he is taking cadets to the Pyrenees for walking, and has organised camps in the UK and abroad, taking cadets from unprivileged backgrounds, and giving them opportunities they wouldn't usually get. He has been my role model for the last 10 years and is someone that we all look up to. A motivated, pro-active, unselfish hard worker that always puts the cadets interests first in the aim to open their minds to new opportunities, much like the Olympic games does. A great ambassador for London 2012
