Will's nomination story

William, known as Will, was born with Cerebral Palsy which primarily affects his legs and has been a manual wheelchair user from a young age. He is now a charming, articulate teenager with a great sense of humour, and has just passed 11 GCSEs to start studying for 4 A-Levels at St John's in Marlborough. Will is as inspirational to other wheelchair users as well as non disabled people. He is determined and cheerful and despite the fatigue that his condition causes, does not allow the fact that he is in a wheelchair to interfere with his everyday life. His parents are both PE Teachers and sport plays a big part in his life; he enjoys wheelchair tennis, basketball and downhill skiing, as well as regular visits to the gym!
