Wendy Neal

Wendy took over as director of a local theatre group and revolutionised it. She has taken people from the verge of having a criminal record, and with time and dedication, has turned their lives around. Everyone in the community knows her and loves her. She puts hours of time into directing, planning and rehearsing the show, and as the main director, dance co-ordinator and singing coach, she spends every free moment she has devoted to working hard and perfecting the work so everyone else has an easier job. On top of this, the theatre group is a charity and needs to raise all of the money itself. Wendy attends every fund raising event and always does it with a smile. She is prepared to spend her own money to help the community and as a member of the theatre group, I can say she has helped me fulfill my ambitions of getting into University.
