Vincent Gibson

Vincent is the County's Bike-It Officer, promoting cycling to school children across Lincolnshire. His engaging and enthusiastic personality succeeds in creating a positive vibe around cycling, and inspires children and young people to cycle for pleasure and fun. His continual enthusiasm and passion for promoting cycling as the best transport mode for fitness, health and the environment shines through in his personality and transmits to everyone he works with. He engages children with 'bike breakfasts', Dr Bike, bling your bike, family bike rides, work shops and other cycling activities tailored for individual schools. For example Birchwood Junior School went from no cycles to 170 cycles on their first bike-it action day. For Vince this is not just a job, its a way of life - he lives and breathes cycling it is a part of him and its this which makes a real difference in the community by radically increasing the uptake of cycling in the county. His positivity is infectious.
