Victoria Pearson

I would like to nominate Vicki Pearson for her work within Scouting. Vicki has been an active leader for the Scout Association since 1996 taking on more responsibilities with each new role. Her most recent and current position is Regional Commissioner. She was appointed to the role from the 1st June 2010. Vicki's remit covers the North East of England and her primary responsibility is to directly manage the team of County Commissioners in the North East and support the strategic management and development of the Region. Her experience and passion provides management and leadership skills that will facilitate the further development of the North East Region for young people within the Scouting Association.

Vicki has a breadth of Scouting experience across a myriad of different roles including running an Explorer Group for 10 years, Assistant County Commissioner (Explorers), 2007 Agent, Elected Member to the Council of The Scout Association and most recently Commercial Manager for West Yorkshire County Scouts. Vicki has a passion for international travel both inside and outside her Scouting career. Amongst her adventures she has been instrumental in planning and leading a series of high profile expeditions to Africa and South America for explorer and network Scouts across West Yorkshire.
