Vicky Berridge-Brown

Vicky gives up her time every week to run the 5th Hangleton Brownie pack. I believe she is the youngest pack leader in the area at 22. She loves being with her girls as she calls them - all 20 of them. Vicky started helping at this unit when she was fourteen as a youth leader and has continued until last year when she was asked to take over the running of the unit. Running a unit requires commitment and enthusiasm, which Vicky has in abundance, it takes up a lot of her time and involves more than going to Brownies one evening a week. During the summer she took her girls away to camp. They all enjoyed themselves taking part in activities such as Archery and Tunnels. I am so proud of my daughter taking part in the local community, helping young girls to enjoy themselves, and to flourish and gaining confidence.
