Victor Ikie

Collaborating with the RNIB charity I consistently run marathons to fundraise and also always encourage others to do the same. My friends family and colleagues are aware of my passion to contribute to the community through running and volunteering. All have been especially impressed by how my desire to fundraise resulted in flying across the Atlantic to run the New York London and Chicago Marathons in the same year. Not being defined by my background based in one of the urban regions of London I have achieved a lot. I would like to inspire individuals within my community to become runners and to seek to strive. Carrying the Olympic flame will be a great opportunity to continue to encourage others to fundraise volunteer actively and positively pursue their own individual passions and to allow the spirit of the Olympic Games to keep the community flame alive.
