42 marathons in 42 days Vicky is a Dietician working within acute inpatient mental health in Dorset. I have worked with her for many years. She remains as passionate today as the day she started about her work and the importance of diet and exercise for people with severe and enduring mental health problems. In August this year Vicky will set out on a gruelling 42 marathons in 42 days. It is her aim to promote understanding of the struggle people have with mental health by putting herself throught this olympic challenge. Vicky will start up in the north of Scotland on the 20th August and she will through the course of her marathons run the length of the country aiming to arrive at St Ann's Hospital Poole Dorset on World Mental Health Day 10th October 2011 Her enthusiasm, passion and motivation are exceptional and I believe if she can achieve her goal of 42 marathons in 42 days she would be a worthy torch bearer for all those that have the daily struggle with mental health problems and the role exercise can have in helping people reach their own goals.
