Vicki James

Vicki is the most inspirational person I know. With an unlimited amount of energy, she has been heavily involved with Girlguiding in Warwickshire for many years - any event she organises will guarantee a fantastic experience for all participants; she is very artistic, a wonderful ideas person, and has great organisational abilities to bring everything together. In recent years, she has organised Warwickshire's international Guide camp; during Girlguiding's centenary last year she produced a music / dance event for 2,000 girls from across the West Midlands. Her latest project was a trip for leaders to Mexico and Peru - because of her hard work and enthusiasm, we all had an amazing experience, on a relatively small budget. In addition, she tragically has to care for her husband, who suffers from early-onset Altzheimers, and can no longer do any of the things they both enjoyed. She would be a superb Olympic Torchbearer!
