Nesii Burns

A brave bubbly 14-year-old who has overcome a major disability and is pioneering better treatment for others with her inspirational story. I want people to know their dreams are realistic and achieveable I thought I could never reach my goal (and dream) and I managed it! Running with the olympic torch would not just be an amazing opportunity but it would inspire so many children with the same disability I had to choose the same treatment and then one day they may be able to do something as amazing themselves. Their legs hold them back so much and if I get to run with the olympic torch not only will I be an inspiration to the younger people with PFFD but I will have achieved my own goal of being able to run with two legs the same length and allowing the whole world to watch. I now feel I can do anything and I want to show them they can too.
