Ness's nomination story

I am a very dedicated athlete and now dedicate all my race to my granddad who died in 2010 from cancer, so i do it to make him and my family as proud as i can. Over the years I have also represented my school at county level in athletics and cross country where I went to the English schools cross country championships for the past 6 years. As well as this I have represented my college at the English schools championships, I also play netball at college for the junior academy 2nd team. Most recently awards evening for schools athlete of the year. I am now Gloucestershire U20 cross county champion and 1500m champion, as well as gloucestershire schools cross contry champion. I am one of Ross-on-Wye top athletes and am very well known in the small town after winning a number of medals such as south west Inter-Countie championships 5000m at my 1st Appearence at these championships.
