I have given hours and hours of my time over the past 3 years to go into many primary schools, secondary schools and at Local Hockey Clubs to encourage children from 6 - 18 to play hockey. I am passionate that the lack of qualified teachers and coaches in the area should not be a reason for children not to get chance to participate in such a wholesome team sport. I give up lunchtimes, afternoons, evenings and weekends and try to cast my net as wide as possible in order to give as many children as possible a chance. Team sports are so rewarding physically, mentally, socially and you can be a participant in hockey from 6 to 60 no problem.
