Tracy Jagger

Tracy is the Guider in Charge of the Brownie unit that I am a trainee leader in. Not only does she do this every week, she also mentors myself and two other trainee leaders she is the district commissioner for the area of Mount Pellon in Halifax. Without the planning and organising carried out by Tracy these Monday night meetings would not be able to run for which our 24 Brownie and 2 other leaders are all very grateful for. Being district commissioner she also has to provide support and guidance for all the other leaders in the area and communicate any messages by organising meetings and contacting everyone.

Tracy does so much work for the unit to be able to run properly. Ensuring everyone's details are up to date on the guiding systems and we always have something planned for the meetings plus managing 24, seven to ten year olds which for some people would seem a very daunting task. There is also the job of dealing with parents, providing support for other units and leaders as part of being the district commissioner.

Tracy is also my mentor as I am training to become a leader and has been an invaluable source of information and support, this is along with two other trainees providing them with support and guidance as they are on their journey to becoming a fully qualified leader.
