Tony Bradwell

Winner of the 2012 BBC Unsung Hero award for Yorkshire and Lincolnshire Tony has helped a vast amount of disabled people access a variety of sports throughout his years as a volunteer at the Foresight charity based in Grimsby. His unselfish attitude and dedication assists disabled adults, young people and children to attend a variety of sports on a weekly basis. Tony has become an irreplaceable volunteer of the organisation driving our disabled users to a wide and varied selection of sporting activities locally and across the country and encouraging and supporting them throughout their experiences and from the ages of 8 to 88. The area of North East Lincolnshire has gone into serious decline with high deprivation and few facilities for the local community and with the help of people like Tony Bradwell our organisation is able to focus on improving the health and wellbeing of our disabled community.
