Tom Wright

Tom is passionate in everything that he does with a love for sport and music. The skills that he has developed in these have also enabled him to help the community both locally and nationally. His musical skills have enabled him to perform and help older students gain their musical examinations, he is an inspiration to younger students to advance in their love of music and the shows that he contributes to brings local communities together with performances in local festivals and school shows that always have a charity theme. His sporting talents are many representing at District and County levels however his love for running has enabled him to combine sport and service by being a committed supporter of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research., Great Ormond St, London. Tom has participated in the Junior Great North Run on three occasions and has also been very proactive in encouraging his whole year group to fundraise too, including giving presentations about the work the charity does. To date Tom has raised just over £1000 for them which go directly into researching blood cancers. Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research completely rely on people like Tom to sustain their programmes for research and are the lifeblood of organisations and truly do save lives. He recently was awarded the Blue Peter badge for all his efforts.
