Timothy's nomination story

Tim always tries to be the best that he can be in everything that he does and this was clearly demonstrated by his performance at the 2010 London Youth Games when he won both the 800m athletics final, followed immediately by winning the U14 Indoor Rowing final. A week later, Tim became the GB Indoor Rowing J14 Record Holder, rowing 1,249m in 4 minutes. Tim also excels at two other sports and endures a punishing training schedule, without complaint, as he strives to achieve his goals. Tim was selected to play Basketball for the London Region in 2010 and has also been selected for the UK Sport Tall and Talented 2016 Olympics Programme. In Athletics Tim won gold in the 800m Surrey County Championships and currently has a UK Athletics ranking of 12th for 1500m. Tim's dedication and attitude has lead to some outstanding results not only within sports but also academically and he loves to encourage and inspire those around him to achieve the best they can be too.
