Since his 1st place position in the 1998 World Junior Triathlon Championships, Tim Don has been one of Britain's most consistently successful athletes. He is the only British athlete that has competed in all three Olympic triathlons since its inclusion in Sydney 2000 (Sydney Athens, and Beijing), but the highlight was winning the 2006 World Title in Lausanne. He also has seven ITU World Cup wins to his name. He unfortunately crashed during the bike leg at the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Grand Final, Budapest 2010 and was unable to finish. Tim has been an inspiration to many athletes to take up the triathlon challenge. Tim was born in Isleworth, London and is the son of former Premier League referee Philip Don. He is married to a former elite runner, and became a father to Matilda Sophia Don in October 2010.
