Tom Southern

Thomas was born with a cancerous tumour in his eye that caused his eye not to form properly and has resulted in him having only one eye. Despite this impairment Tommy has never let it prevent him from trying new things and doing very well in physically activities. He really enjoys taking part in PE lessons, loves cycling and regularly attends sea cadets. He is a lovely boy with a very positive attitude to life.. . We feel that Tommy is inspirational to others in that he has overcome difficulties from an early age and shows real self determination to be the best he can in everything he does.. . Tommy would relish this opportunity of a life time to carry the Olympic flame and it would be a very proud and fitting occasion for everyone who knows him..
