Carrying the Flame on
Tom's nomination story

Tom Ross is a youth football coach for the Muskham Cougars. He has been coaching for over six years now. The remarkable thing is Tom started coaching when he was just sixteen years old. He started his coaching career with a group of six and seven year old boys teaching them the fundamentals to football. Today Tom still coaches these same boys who now play in the local under 12 youth football league. His passion and enthusiasm for the sport is evident. He is someone who encourages the boys to do their best on the pitch and off. More importantly Tom is someone the boys look up to. Hence the boys at Muskham would love to see Tom carry the Olympic Flame as he truly deserves to be recognised for his outstanding effort and contributions to youth football.
