Let me tell you all about Thomas, Thomas is a caring, friendly and thoughtful teenager, who is a great friend to many. He has studied for his GCSEs and has even taken additional qualifications in order to further improve his life chances. Thomas intends to go on to do A levels at a local college in September. In the interim period, he has signed up to take part in National Citizenship Service over the summer months. Thomas attends Army Cadets on a twice weekly basis. He works well as part of a team and he has a thirst for adventure. Thomas enjoys travelling, exercise and outdoor life! Since he was six years old Thomas has attended a local karate club, where he is now a very proud holder of a black belt. He helps out at the club supporting children in developing their skills and talent. Thomas, himself, nominated his karate coach, Enrico Capaldi, to be a Torch Bearer. During the winter months, Thomas helped out neighbours in his community: clearing the road of snow and getting in shopping for vulnerable adults. He is a very charitable young man, who will do all he can to help others. I know this is a once in a life time opportunity, it is an opportunity not to be missed. I know that Thomas would remember and appreciate this day for the rest of his life!
