Tom Heal is a charity fund raiser and world record holder. In March 2010 Tom became one half of the rowing team that broke the world record to become the youngest pair to ever row an ocean, both boys being 21years. Tom and Will (Tom's old school friend) rowed the Atlantic. They raised money for the Special Boat Service Association. Tom took a year out of university to achieve this. Tom now talks to schoolchildren helping to inspire them with his theme 'anything is possible'. He has become a trustee of the environmental charity RAW. Tom instigated and planned 2 marathons on 2 consecutive weekends for 2 charities, St Dunstan's (blind ex-service people) and Muscular Dystrophy. Ollie (Tom's 22 year friend) is wheel chair bound; Tom and 2 friends pushed Ollie round the Brighton marathon and the following weekend ran the London marathon. They raised over £13,000.
