Tom Hartley

I would like to nominate my son, Tom Hartley, who is aged 14. Tom is a super kid, he works hard at school and always does the right thing to help his community. He wants to be a vet when he is older so his acts of kindness often invlove animals and the environment. Examples are: When he was 12 he baked cakes and sold them on the street to give money to the local RSPCA centre Whenever he walks his dogs in the local woods, he picks up rubbish and brings it home We have had to rescue numerous aniamls from birds to mice. He has adopted a stray cat and makes sure it gets fed Tom does not do anything dramatic or on a grand scale, but the little things add up. He is not a typical self centered teenager! He really would help anyone who was in difficulty and is an excellent role model for his friends.
