Thomas's nomination story

As a former rugby scrum-half for FC Grenoble, Alain played in the first division for several years during the 80s, later becoming a coach. In 1997, one of his young players was involved in a serious accident which resulted in permanent paralysis. Alain decided to create a structure to ensure a future for the young boy. In 2003, he established LMDES (Le Match d'Etienne Services)- a workshop based in St-Jean-en-Royane in the DrĂ´me region. Alain voluntarily runs the company and it has continued to grow since its establishment as a result of the faith and energy of its founder. In 2011, LMDES employs 40 people, of which 35 disabled individuals who have found not only a job, but also hope and dignity. A branch of LMDES has just opened in Grenoble, to consolidate the achievements and to ensure sustainable employment Alain is an exceptional man in every way!
