Tom Brennan

Tom has Downs syndrome and suffers from other major health issues including type 1 diabetes. Tom is not a coach but is an examsple to all of the value of sport. Despite his diffuclites Tom has joined 3 local sport clubs (athletics, basketball and bowling.) He has helped inspire and motivate others in the community to take up sport and is known for his commitment and positve attitude. Despite Tom's busy schedule he also works in a voluntary capacity at his local hospice shop and acts as a 'welcomer' in his local church. Tom always has time for people. He is very well known by young and old in his local area of Woodseats, Sheffield.
