I have nominated my son as I feel he is a star. He has supported his brother who has ADHD and a form of Asbergers he watches over him at school as his brother gets bullied even though he's a year younger he is there for his brother. He is caring and supportive to his school mates often helping them with school work. If he knows that someone needs help young or old he will offer his help. In 2009 he did a lifestyle project with 3 others and worked continually through the summer to transform an area in the village that was over grown with 6ft brambles and nettles and was full of graffiti. Two of the boys doing the project only worked on it for a couple of weeks and it was left to Tom and his brother to finish. They planted 500 bulbs and plants cleaning graffiti off walls making it a beautiful place to walk. He never complained he just got on with the work. He is a paper boy in our village and delivers papers whatever the weather he never lets anyone down. Just recently one of the owners at our village shop was taken ill so every day when he comes home from school he goes and stocks up the shelves for them, put delivery's away and does any other jobs they need doing, then comes home and does his homework. He also raises money for various charities by doing bike rides and walks. He would be ecstatic and so proud to run with the Olympic Torch it would be something nice for him instead of him doing something nice for others. I hope you can make this happen Thank you from mum
