Terry Eccles

Terry works constantly for the benefit of his community and anyone who needs help. He sleeps rough to support homeless people; he runs garage sales for overseas charities; he regularly clears litter from our street in the early hours when no-one else is about; four days a week he works as a volunteer NHS ambulance driver, often working up to 14 hours daily and driving long distances, all for no pay. He is a real unsung local hero. He's recovered from a heart attack and reglarly cycles and runs for fitness. He's a sports-lover and would love to play a small part in the London Olympics
