Taig Stephens

Taig is a young man who joined us in 2011- he could have drifted as easily as he might have enjoyed success; his family and primary teachers had concerns. Since his arrival, however, he has grasped opportunities both in and out of the classroom with zest and enthusiasm. He encourages others in sport- a real team player. Academically Taig can really struggle but his attitude shows a determination to succeed. Taig embraces the Olympic Values of friendship, excellence and respect seen in his attitude towards his peers in the classroom, during break times and on the sports field. Taig has a ready smile and will greet students and staff alike with genuine warmth. I`m confident that he`d do a great job bearing the Olympic torch- doing so would encourage him further to reach in fulfilling his personal goals whilst at the same time encouraging others along the way.
