Sydney is an aspiring female footballer. She currently plays football for The FA Middlesex Centre of Excellence, Middlesex County, represents The Borough of Ealing at The London Youth Games and her school, Brentside High School. Sydney takes playing football very seriously, attends training twice a week and plays matches all over south east of England each Saturday. She eats very healthily as advised by her football coaches. She does extra training during the week by playing with boys in the park and practices skills in the garden. In primary school Sydney was the captain of a mixed boys and girls team in which she was the only girl and the youngest player. Sydney has been signed up and played for Queens Park Rangers, Brentford and Ruislip Rangers. She has been awarded player of the year for most of her teams. Sydney's dream is to play for Arsenal Ladies and represent England like her idol Rachael Yankey. Sydney was privileged to be chosen by her school to meet David Cameron at 10 Downing Street. She was able to ask him a question and asked to appear live on The BBC London News, which was a lifetime experience. Sydney is also involved in other sports such as netball, rounders and hockey. She does very well academically at school as she is in top sets for maths, english and science. Most of all Sydney is a lovely person. She gets praise from teachers and neighbours alike. She would love the opportunity to be a Torchbearer.
