Suzanne Woods

Suzanne has a learning disability & lives in a community house. She is a Special Olympic athelete & trains in football, floor hockey & Bocce at Centre 21. Even though she was not selected to take part in the World Summer Games in Athens in July 2011 she attended all our fundraising events & supported the team. Centre 21 is a purpose built facility for people with learning disabilities & plays a big part in her life. She is member of the Gateway Drama group which has helped to boost her confidence & she now takes on leading roles in hteir productions. Her job as a part time cleaner at the centre gives her a sense of pride in her work beacuse of the share ownership of the building.
