Susy Evans

Susy is born profoundly Deaf. She is 4th Dan Karate Instructor for 18 years & is only Deaf Instructor in West & South Wales & possibly of GB. She taught 7 other clubs & now teach 2 clubs. She was twice Welsh Champion, Wales v Ireland Champion, 5 times Higashi Champion England, 2nd British Wado Ryu Cup, twice selected British & once selected for Wales at European championships. She was named young achiever by HRH The Queen & starred in See Hear Deaf Programme to inspire others. She teaches Deaf Awareness at Dyfed Powys Police & served 21 years service. She won various sports such as swimming, althletics. She raises money each year for charities with karate clubs. She is so inspirational to people everywhere & deserves this recognition. She loves teaching to help get people off the street and turn them into positive people & to respect others. She has overcome difficulties & dicriminations by keeping positive. She is a true sportswoman & real inspirational to everyone she meets.
