I love swimming as a swimming teacher and as an official. Teaching nervous adults to swim and working with young swimmers at competitions.I am so honoured to be a swimming official working at the highest level particularly in the field of disability swimming where I work on an International stage being 1 of only 14 Worldwide accredited disability officials by the International Paralympic Committee. I love working at the highest levels but still attend and enjoy the grass root competitions where the talent base comes from - it is so good to see a swimmer I've known and supported achieve on such a platform.My work teaching nervous adults is so rewarding - my mum could not swim due to her fear of the water and she was my first success. I work on a 1-1 basis in the water alongside the adult and get such a buzz when they are confident and able to engage in their families lives.
