Sue's nomination story

Mrs Susan Nutt is an inspiration to me because of her sheer unselfishness and dedication to helping people. Without her, I would not be here today. When I was most in need, she comforted me, despite the fact that her husband was critically ill at the time. She is my closest friend, encourager, and fellow traveller. She has pushed me in my wheelchair over half of Europe. Sue is continually raising funds for orphans worldwide and has sent hundreds of shoe boxes to Romania and Africa. In addition, she is always baking cakes for birthdays all over Wivenhoe. Sue is an artist but is too busy looking after her grandchildren to indulge in her passion for the canvas. However, one piece of her artwork hangs in the local Hospice; it is like her, positive! Sue is partially sighted, and latterly has back problems. Despite this, her generosity is undimished.
