Sue's nomination story

Sue has a congenital hip defect with arthritis of the spine,. She walks with the aid of a stick. Over the past fifteen years she has spent a great deal of time supporting and transporting her son William all over England and Wales as he trained and competed in disability swimming events with C P Sports, and school swimming games. Not one to sit back and watch,Sue has been a fund raiser for the sport and also for Hemi Help, (for who she was a trustee for 10years).She has taken part in White Water Rafting,Dragon boat racing,Abseiling and this year the Great North swim in lake Windermere. Aftre training for almost a year she finished in just over 2 hours..A Lady who will not be beaten!! She has also been a school governer in Junior and High school. Her other son and husband have always supported her in every way.She inspires all who know her,always has time for other people, and cannot turn down a request for help.
