Sue's nomination story

(Debenhams Retail plc) Sue was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2008 and over the last couple of years has endured several operations, courses of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. However, during this difficult time Sue has remainged positive and has channelled her energy to not only fighting the cancer, but also funding raising to help cancer charities as well as championing breast cancer awareness for Debenhams, Chester. Activities have included quizzes, auctions, bring and buy cake sales, keep fit routines (that have ended up on Youtube!) Sue's continued strength and positivity has inspired others within the store and outside of it to face the journey with a 'can do' mentality. She faces her last hurdle this November with her last operation and all that know her think she would be a worthwhile ambassador for Debenhams and the London Olympics.
