Stuart Parker

Stuart is butchery manager in store. He has been a retained firefighter for 8 years. A keen sportsman you can see him running and cycling around the countryside. He has completed many marathons and ultra runs. At 50 a new challenge loomed. He took up swimming lessons and entered the world of triathlons. In 2011 he entered a double iron man so started fundraising for our charity of the year Help for Heroes. Having raised £5000 this event was unfortunately cancelled by the organisers.Stuart was devastated so he entered 2 ironman events in 2 weeks begging the organisers of Ironman UK for a place in an event that was full, so as not to let the charity down. So far he has raised £6500 and is still fundraising for this cause. Over the years he has raised money for Lincolnshire Air Ambulance a cause close to his heart with his work with the fire brigade.
