He looks after the community by regular litter picking dedicating time to local charity shops toruist information and th town council.Something I would like to do is to find a way to help local elderly people. In Malmesbury there are isolated and older folk who would greatly benefit from contact with others. In the autumn I plan to set up a data base of volunteer visitors in conjunction with Age UK. I am currently actively involved in community fundraising to set-up extend and advertise the network of footpaths in the local area as I believe fitness and health in the local community can be best promoted through this simple activity. At present I'm proud to be Mayor of Malmesbury to also work in the local Oxfam and to be a volunteer at the local tourist office - promoting this wonderful community of which I am part to visitors from far and wide.
