Steven Blair

As a Professor in the Arnold School of Public Health at University of South Carolina, Dr. Steven Blair is highly recognized for his research in the areas of lifestyle and health. He is a past-president of the American College of Sports Medicine and one of the few individuals outside the U.S. Public Health Service to be awarded the Surgeon General's Medallion. Dr. Blair's extensive range of research has made him one of the most highly cited exercise scientists. As a member of the Exercise is Medicine Task Force, he has shown personal commitment and dedication to his field of work. These unique health and wellness accomplishments inspired Coca-Cola to recognize him as an Olympic Torch Relay nominee.
