Stephen has shown great commitment in volunteering his time to various projects. He has been an eco champion for his school, attending training on the environment, sustainable development and global citizenship. He has used his skills to improve his school and the wider community. He was been trained as a young inspector and has inspected youth organisations to ensure that their work conforms to a standard when involving children, young people and families. He is a champion for children's rights and is dedicated to ensuring other children and young people are aware that they have rights. Stephen has a non-judgemental approach and is keen on tackling the disadvantages he sees in his community and in others. He volunteers at a local hospital each Sunday on a radio station and plans to do further medical volunteering once he has turned 16. He cares for his disabled grandmother and spends time with her when he is not studying. He plans to be trained as a doctor and takes his committment to the community seriously. Amongst all his volunteering and attending school, he manages to maintain a personal fitness routine running everyday.
