Stephen Parsons

Stephen has volunteered for nearly 7 years including whilst at University and now for 3 years since Morpeth Rugby and Cricket Clubs, Stephen has not only help transform the structure of the Cricket clubs junior section but he has also been involved in the transformation of the junior membership from 12 members early in 2010 to its current levels of 46 junior members in Three age groups. Stephen has also worked to support the young coaches in the club and supported one coach to work towards the level 2 coaching award. Stephen is the coaching coordinator the rugby club, whilst currently coaching the Ladies senior team and the under 8's section.Through Stephen's coaching and volunteering around 200 young people and adults have been able to participate in sport whilst he has also played rugby for the club and is now a vice captain of the 4th team, as well as organising a touch team in summer
